SustNET Achieves Milestone in Food Security Program

We are delighted to share a significant accomplishment in our Food Security Program. SustNET successfully distributed 600 packs of pumpkin menus, equivalent to 300 kilograms of pumpkins, in Simpang Renggam on Friday, January 12, 2024.

This remarkable feat was achieved through the collaborative efforts of a dedicated team of 50 individuals from the Orang Kampung of Simpang Renggam with the help of Caretaker, Kolej Komuniti Simpang Renggam and Jabatan Pembagunan Politeknik and Kolej Komuniti (JPPKK).

We extend our gratitude for the collective hard work and commitment that made this initiative possible. The pumpkin menus were distributed strategically to contribute to local food security in Simpang Renggam.  The menus are – Nasi Labu, Kuih Koci Labu, Bingka Labu, dan Bubur Pengat Labu.

We express our heartfelt thanks and say Alhamdulillah for the successful execution of this project. A detailed report outlining the impact and outcomes of the distribution will be prepared and shared soon.
