The awards recognise companies, organisations, and individuals based on their engagement with the P5 Framework (Product, Process, People, Planet, Prosperity), developed by GPM Global (USA), and their demonstrated commitment to sustainability through training and project implementation. For example, if an Organisation previously sent an employee for P5 Framework training, making them part of the P5 Framework Community, they would be eligible for recognition.
2. What were the criteria for an Organisation receiving these awards?
An Organisation is being recognised due to their engagement in P5 Framework training (sending an employee) and the demonstrated commitment to sustainability, including the understanding of P5 Framework principles by their staff and evidence of implementing sustainability initiatives.
3. Were there nominations or a judging panel for these awards?
As these are Recognition Awards, there was no traditional nomination process or judging panel. The recognition is based on an Organisation's active engagement and learning within the P5 Framework community.
4. Can an Organisation attend only the awards ceremony?
Yes, even if an Organisation cannot send a representative to the full Asia Pacific Sustainability Conference, it is essential that at least one person attends the Award Giving ceremony on May 21st. Their presence would be greatly appreciated.

For instance, an Organisation that previously received a Malaysian GPM Sustainability Award and has continued to advance its sustainability efforts could be recognised.

Awardees, such as an Organisation, have demonstrated enhanced community impact and advanced their sustainability capabilities to merit recognition at the Asia Pacific level. They have invested in P5 Framework training and assessment for their teams and have implemented impactful sustainability projects.
